Paris Windows #2

Spring fabrics and looks are in the store windows even though it has been cool and rainy in Paris.

Pouring rain did not stop our intrepid ParisTilton group from navigating the flea market, the gardens at Giverny, nor did it deter our fabric shopping adventures. Shown here, looks from Paris windows this week, taken dodging raindrops while dashing around town.

Pattern play at work in this cheerful mix of prints. Wearing a top tucked in at the front and out in back is a trending detail.

Painted/dyed jeans have me wondering if the Dye-Na-Flow liquid paints might be used for the same effect.

Just for fun, a modern youthful summer jumpsuit.

Interesting use of trim that wraps around the arm.

Bow and diagonal stripe.

Digitally printed silk.

Chic and feminine coat and dress, just right for a spring special occasion.

Soft and slouchy. The frogs are real and have been made into little zipper bags (expensive, around 400 euros).

At Anne Fontaine, signature fitted shirts with lace/eyelet details.

Clever use of eyelet.

Beautiful pleated neck detail. All in one sleeves, another style trend.

At Karl Lagerfeld a spring rendition of the moto jacket and skinny pant.

My kind of ball gown!! At l'Eclaireur, a high end concept shop, we stopped to admire this elegant gray gown....the jury is out on the hat.

Dresses for girls spotted in a shop on rue Madame

Balloons used as trim.
